Is Google set to challenge Samsung’s Galaxy S26 and Z Fold 8 next month?

As Samsung readies its latest foldable phones, Google is preparing to introduce its new Pixel smartphones. Expected to launch four models, including the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Google aims to rival Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The Pixel 11 lineup is anticipated to hit the market on August 20, 2026, with prices starting at €999. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are expected to be priced at €1,199 and €1,399, respectively, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may start at €1,999. All devices will feature Google’s 2nm Tensor G6 chips and are likely to be unveiled on August 11, 2026, shortly after Samsung’s launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Notably, the Pixel 11 could cost €100 more than the Galaxy S26, both offering 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED displays and triple rear cameras. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold might be €200 less than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, aligning its price with the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
