The shortage of memory chips has become a critical hurdle in the development of AI infrastructure, with only three companies globally capable of addressing this issue. Among them is Samsung, alongside fellow Korean company SK Hynix and US-based Micron. He is in active discussions with executives from Samsung and SK Hynix, acknowledging potential tensions this could cause, especially with Micron. However, the overarching goal remains to fortify America’s semiconductor supply chain.
