AT&T has opened pre-orders for Samsung’s latest foldables and is offering steep trade-in discounts that can bring the Galaxy Z Fold 8 to no cost for qualifying customers. The carrier began taking pre-orders today for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8.
How the Galaxy Z Fold 8 offer works
AT&T will apply a $1,900 discount for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 as bill credits spread over 36 months, effectively covering the device’s price for customers with an eligible trade-in. The same $1,900 credit is available toward the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, reducing its upfront cost to $200. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is discounted by $1,000 with an eligible trade-in, again through bill credits applied over 36 months.
Eligible trade-ins and scope
The carrier is accepting a broad range of devices for trade-in, and the offer specifically requires trading in a Galaxy S22+, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3 or a higher Samsung smartphone to qualify for the advertised credits. Customers should confirm their device’s eligibility with AT&T before completing a purchase.
Billing implications and cancellation
The discounts are delivered as monthly bill credits over three years. If a customer cancels service before the credits are fully applied, the credits will stop and the remaining device balance will become payable immediately.
Pre-order timing
Pre-orders for the lineup are available starting today from AT&T. Interested buyers should review trade-in terms and billing details with the carrier when placing an order to understand eligibility and any potential financial obligations.
AT&T’s promotion makes the Galaxy Z Fold 8 accessible without upfront cost for qualifying customers, while also significantly lowering the effective price of Samsung’s other new foldables for those who trade in eligible devices.
