EDISON, N.J., September 24, 2026 — Redefine Surgery, a medical technology company building physical AI for surgery, has closed an oversubscribed pre-seed financing round, bringing total capital raised to $10 million. Backed predominantly by surgeon investors, the financing will support continued development of the company’s surgical intelligence platform as it advances toward commercialization.
The financing announcement coincides with Catalyst OrthoScience joining Redefine Surgery as a Founding Partner. Together, the companies plan to develop an integrated surgical intelligence ecosystem that connects data, decisions, and outcomes across shoulder replacement procedures.
