Vox AI, a conversational voice AI platform based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, has successfully raised $8.7 million in seed funding. The funding round was led by the global venture capital firm Headline, with contributions from True, Simon Capital, and returning investor Souschef Ventures. Headline, known for its focus on technology-driven startups with international growth potential, has offices in major cities worldwide. The newly acquired funds will be used to support Vox AI’s global expansion, including the establishment of a new office in San Francisco, and to further develop its autonomous voice AI platform. Founded in 2023, Vox AI specializes in providing voice AI solutions for drive-thru and quick-service restaurants, aiming to reduce queues, enhance upselling, improve customer experiences, and assist overworked employees. The platform supports over 90 languages, replicates natural speech, and adapts in real time to various accents, noise levels, and local conditions. Vox AI’s offerings include 24/7 drive-thru ordering, mobile voice pre-orders, and an “Employee Assist” hub to aid staff operations. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, with an additional office in San Francisco.
