Apple is hosting an online streaming event for the public and press on Wednesday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The company is expected to announce new iPhone 18 Pro models and a new foldable iPhone alongside new Apple Watch models, and potentially AirPods 5 and other products during the event, dubbed “Sunshine and Shine.” Below are the official viewing options and the event time in key time zones.
How to watch the Apple event
Apple Events website
You can watch the event live on a Mac, iPhone, iPad, PC, or any other device with a web browser by visiting www.apple.com/apple-events/ at the scheduled time. The Apple Events page works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and other major browsers. You can visit the page in advance to add an event reminder to your calendar.
YouTube
Apple will stream the event live on YouTube, which is available on most platforms including smartphones, tablets, consoles and smart TVs. Apple has posted a placeholder on YouTube that you can visit now to set an event reminder.
Apple TV app
The Apple TV app will feature a prominent section dedicated to the live stream on event day. The Apple Events experience was folded into the Apple TV app ahead of WWDC 2020; the app is available on Apple TV, iPhones, iPads, Macs and select smart TVs, streaming devices and gaming consoles. Apple has not yet updated the Apple TV app with the new event placeholder, but it should be added before the stream.
