Charikaty raises pre-seed round at €3M valuation

Casablanca-based legaltech startup Charikaty has closed a pre-seed funding round at a €3 million valuation to scale its compliance and accounting software across the MENA region.

The round, announced on September 10, 2026, lists Red Tape Ventures, Faris Al-Obaid and Faris Abdi among its lead investors.

Charikaty will deploy the capital to launch two new ventures, expand its accounting and compliance platform, and extend its operations from Morocco into Egypt and the Gulf Cooperation Council markets. Investors participating in the round include Red Tape Ventures, Faris Al-Obaid and Faris Abdi.

Founded by Amr Mouaqit and Driss Sijelmassi, Charikaty provides a digital platform for business incorporation and the broader lifecycle of a company. The platform enables users to incorporate companies and manage statutory modifications, domiciliation, accounting services, trademark filings and dissolution online.
