Did Phia secure an $8 million seed round led by Kleiner Perkins?

Phia, a company specializing in AI-driven shopping solutions, has successfully completed an $8 million seed funding round, led by Kleiner Perkins. The round also saw participation from notable investors including Hailey Bieber, Kris Jenner, and Sheryl Sandberg. Launched in April 2025, Phia offers an iOS app and mobile browser extension designed to enhance shopping experiences by comparing prices, calculating resale values, and tracking price fluctuations in real time. Within just five months, Phia has attracted 500,000 users and established over 5,000 brand partnerships, driving significant sales. Co-founders Phoebe Gates and Sophia Kianni aim to modernize the shopping industry by making it easier for consumers to find the best deals. Phia hosts a vast database of fashion products and is expanding rapidly. The company plans to introduce a personalized shopping agent powered by proprietary technology, offering tailored purchase suggestions. With the new funding, Phia aims to expand its team and infrastructure, and explore new market verticals.
