Did SAS and Dude Perfect set a new Guinness World Record for their 50th anniversary?

The entertainment group Dude Perfect, alongside over 1,300 SAS customers, users, partners, and employees, broke the Guinness World Record for the most people performing a double high five simultaneously. This record-breaking event involved 671 pairs and took place at SAS Innovate, a leading data and AI conference, as part of SAS’s 50th anniversary celebrations. SAS Chief Marketing Officer Jenn Chase highlighted that this achievement reflects the company’s long-standing culture of collaboration and innovation. A representative from Guinness World Records was on-site to confirm the accomplishment. Beyond setting records, SAS Innovate also showcased advancements in AI governance, agentic systems, digital twins, and quantum AI, with a focus on responsible innovation for impactful real-world outcomes. The event was supported by partner sponsors including Microsoft, Intel, and AWS, marking SAS’s five decades of leadership in data and AI.
