Does Royal Caribbean’s largest cruise ship now feature thousands of Samsung TVs?

Samsung Electronics has strengthened its long-standing partnership with Royal Caribbean by equipping the cruise line’s latest and largest ship, Star of the Seas, with over 6,000 hospitality TVs and digital signage solutions. These Samsung displays are installed in various areas including guest cabins, crew quarters, lounges, and theaters, enhancing the onboard experience with 4K UHD resolution and serving as central information hubs. The TVs offer personalized messages, daily schedules, and support for streaming services like Google Cast and Apple AirPlay. Samsung’s collaboration with Royal Caribbean spans over two decades, during which more than 200,000 displays have been supplied across the fleet. The sister ship, Icon of the Seas, also received a significant number of these advanced displays when it launched in 2024.
