Samsung has released One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy A17 5G via a new over-the-air (OTA) software update.
The update is being distributed first in South Korea and carries firmware version A176LKSU4CZJ5 (via Mohammed Khatri).
After releasing an update first in its home country, Samsung typically rolls it out to other regions a few days later; accordingly, Galaxy A17 units in other markets should receive One UI 9.0 very soon.

You can check availability and install the update by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
