Galaxy S27 Ultra color leak lists four base shades, no Purple

A short post on Twitter/X by @UniverseIce indicates the Galaxy S27 Ultra will be offered in four base colors: Black, Blue, Light Pink, and White.

That list does not include Samsung’s online-exclusive colorways, which typically add a couple of extra hues and are sold only on the company’s website rather than through third-party retailers; those exclusives do not cost more.

Galaxy S27 Ultra colors: what leaked

Previous leaks had pointed to five colors, which suggested a purple option. It is unclear whether a purple variant has been omitted from the base lineup this time or if Samsung plans to reserve it as an online-exclusive.

It would be the first time in four years if Samsung did not release a purple Galaxy S Ultra model. The Galaxy S23 Ultra in 2023 came in Lavender, and since then every Galaxy S Ultra phone has been available in a similar shade.

Light Pink comes very close to Lavender on the color wheel.

New look and camera bar

Combined with a new camera bar that spans the entire rear panel, the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s design departs from the look of nearly every Galaxy S Ultra since 2021. The new camera island gives the phone an entirely different appearance, now available in Lavender Light Pink if the leaks are accurate.

All of this depends on whether the leaks prove accurate. Samsung plans to launch the new devices early next year.
