Leaked images have surfaced showing Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra ahead of a planned launch in the coming weeks. The leaks reveal design details, color options and a broad set of specs that align both tablets as this year’s premium slates.
Galaxy Tab S12 design, sizes and colors
The Galaxy Tab S12+ appears to use a 12.4-inch display and is shown in black and silver. The device features a single rear-facing camera and closely resembles the previous Galaxy Tab S11; the S Pen stylus is visible in the images and is likely to be bundled. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra keeps the 14.6-inch screen size of prior Ultra models, adopts exceptionally thin bezels for a tablet, and includes a small notch for the front-facing camera. The Ultra is pictured with a dual rear camera and is also shown in black and silver.
Both tablets are reported to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and at least 128GB of storage. Expandable storage is supported via a microSD slot that accepts cards up to 2TB. They are said to ship with Android 17-based One UI 9.0 and are expected to receive seven generations of Android OS updates.
Connectivity and hardware details include an in-display fingerprint reader, Wi‑Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type-C port with 5Gbps transfer speeds. Battery capacities differ by model: the Tab S12+ is reported to have a 10,600mAh battery, while the Tab S12 Ultra carries an 11,600mAh cell. Both support 45W fast wired charging.
