New certifications and Google Play Console listings suggest Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 series is launching soon, with entries appearing ahead of a confirmed H2 2026 release.
Just last week the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra were certified by Bluetooth SIG, carrying model numbers SM-X840 and SM-X946 respectively.

Both the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra have since been spotted on the supported devices list for the Google Play Console. As seen in the past, Samsung is expected to offer both 5G and Wi‑Fi only iterations of the new tablets.
Samsung has confirmed it will launch the new flagship tablets in the second half of 2026. The company has not detailed specific changes yet, but the new models are expected to bring a new chipset and cosmetic updates. They may also be the first Galaxy tablets to ship with One UI 9.0 out of the box.
