HDR10+ GAMING enhances Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Samsung

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will use Samsung’s HDR10+ GAMING format to deliver a more immersive gaming experience. Activision and Samsung announced that Samsung is the official TV, monitor, soundbar and Wi‑Fi speaker partner for the title, which is scheduled to launch on October 23, 2026.

With HDR10+ GAMING, Modern Warfare 4 will provide more accurate colors, precise contrast and dynamic brightness tailored to the developers’ creative intent. The first‑person shooter also natively supports a 32:9 super ultrawide aspect ratio, enabling players on monitors such as the Samsung Odyssey G9 to enjoy an expanded field of view.

HDR10+ GAMING integration

Samsung’s HDR10+ GAMING support applies across TVs, monitors, soundbars and Wi‑Fi speakers as part of the collaboration with Activision.

Showcase and beta windows

Ahead of the game’s release, the Call of Duty: NEXT showcase will stream live via the Samsung Gaming Hub on August 21, 2026 at 9:00 AM PST, with a dedicated tune‑in banner on the Samsung TV Gaming Hub masthead. Samsung will distribute Early Access Beta codes through the Samsung Promotion app and the Samsung TV Gaming Hub.

Early Access Beta runs from August 21 to August 25, 2026. The Open Beta is scheduled for August 28 to September 1, 2026.
