What are the details of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2’s Snapdragon chip?

Qualcomm has recently introduced its Snapdragon Wear Elite chip for smartwatches, with Samsung and Motorola as initial partners. This development suggested that Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 might feature this new processor. Recent leaks from the Geekbench database have unveiled the chip’s specifications, codenamed Vienna. It boasts a five-core CPU, including one Cortex-A78C core running at 2.11GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.96GHz, alongside an Adreno 622 GPU. Testing shows the chip is paired with 4GB of RAM and operates on Android 16. The Snapdragon Wear Elite, built on a 3nm process, surpasses Samsung’s Exynos W1000 in performance, achieving a 54% higher single-core score and a 56% higher multi-core score on Geekbench. Additionally, its GPU outperforms the Exynos W1000’s Mali-G68 by 47% in compute tests. If implemented in the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, this chip could significantly enhance performance compared to its predecessor.
