Former Kyrgyz Prime Minister Djoomart Otorbaev argued that dialogue is crucial for fostering cooperation between nations with differing viewpoints, citing an American businessman who attended the forum with the desire to contribute to the development of a governance mechanism for artificial intelligence.

Erik Solheim, President of the EU-Asia Centre and former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, said the world needs to establish common rules in areas such as space and AI to mitigate risks and ensure that scientific and technological achievements are used responsibly.

Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of the Pakistan Centre for Community Studies for a Shared Future, emphasized the role of international cooperation in promoting peace and stability in the face of instability and conflict in various regions.

At the forum, China said its Global Governance Initiative has received support and feedback from more than 160 countries and international organizations since its proposal over a year ago. China announced measures to implement the initiative, reaffirmed its support for multilateralism and the central role of the United Nations, and emphasized the need to strengthen the voices of developing countries in international affairs.
