Deep-tech startup Ctruh has successfully raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round spearheaded by Inflection Point Ventures. The funding also saw participation from Avinya Ventures, India Accelerator, Founder’s Avenue, Anthill Ventures, and LVX, along with notable angel investors Vivek Sinha and Shivakumar Ganesan. The company plans to utilize the funds to enhance its research and development efforts, advance its proprietary browser-native 3D engine and VersaAI generative AI platform, and expand its market presence in the United States and the UAE.
Ctruh is set to broaden its operations into these regions within this year. Vinay Agastya, the CEO, emphasized the company’s mission to make advanced technological solutions more accessible to businesses of all sizes. The funding is expected to accelerate their efforts in creating spatial experiences for various businesses.
The startup is also developing industry-specific applications, with its first product, Commverse Studio, already launched as an AI-powered XR commerce studio that allows brands to create immersive 3D experiences quickly. Agastya highlighted the growing impact of augmented reality, with significant increases in conversion rates and widespread adoption expected by 2026.
Vinay Bansal, CEO of IPV, noted Ctruh’s distinct technical approach in combining AI with 3D and XR to create scalable immersive content for business applications. The Bengaluru-based startup has gained recognition, having appeared on Shark Tank India Season 5 and winning accolades such as the ELEVATE 2025 award and the Aegis Graham Bell Award for innovation in immersive experiences.
