Have the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 received the October 2025 security update?

Samsung, typically known for releasing its monthly security patches to new and high-end devices in the first half of the month, has been delayed this October due to the rollout of One UI 8.0 (Android 16). As the month draws to a close, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 have now received the October 2025 security update. This update addresses numerous security vulnerabilities and is currently being distributed in Europe. Users can access the update by navigating to Settings, selecting Software update, and choosing Download and install. In addition to the recent One UI 8.0 update, Samsung is already working on the One UI 8.5 release, promising further design enhancements and new features for these foldable devices.
