Space DOTs aims to address the 15% anomaly rate in spacecraft operations by providing real-time data and insights on the complex space environment, which often defies ground-based simulations. The company has already begun collecting data from its payloads and plans to expand with future launches. Recently, Space DOTs secured $1.5 million in seed funding, led by Female Founders Fund, bringing its total funding to $3.2 million. Cefalo likened the fundraising process to “dating-to-marry,” highlighting the challenges of securing investment.
