StratusGrid has secured $3 million in seed funding to enhance its AI-driven platform for optimizing cloud infrastructure. This marks the company’s first external capital raise, led by Dogwood Ventures and supported by several other investors. StratusGrid addresses the challenge of infrastructure sprawl in complex cloud environments, particularly as organizations increase their AI workloads. Its platform, Stratusphere, goes beyond traditional tools by not only identifying optimization opportunities but also executing approved changes and verifying results. This approach has reportedly saved customers millions in AWS and Azure environments while allowing engineering teams to focus on product development. The new funding will accelerate the development of Stratusphere, expand the company’s product and engineering capabilities, and enhance its market reach, particularly targeting private equity-backed software firms and large enterprises.
