iPhone 20 to Feature Biggest Redesign Since iPhone X

Apple is reportedly planning a special 20th‑anniversary iPhone for next year that would represent the biggest redesign of the iPhone Pro line since the iPhone X, according to Mark Gurman. The device is said to have curved glass wrapping around all corners and edges and thinner bezels around the screen.

The report quotes Gurman saying, “It will be the biggest overhaul to what is now the iPhone Pro line since the iPhone X,” but provides no further technical details. The curved glass and reduced bezels suggest a screen that truly wraps around the corners and edges for a near all‑glass appearance.

Unveiled by Steve Jobs in 2007, the iPhone will mark its 20th anniversary next year. The iPhone X, released in 2017, was the first model with Face ID; removing the Touch ID home button allowed its display to extend closer to the device edges compared with earlier models.

Rumors about a 20th‑anniversary iPhone have circulated for some time, and Gurman’s latest reporting indicates the device appears to be in development. It remains unclear whether Apple will be able to fully realise the reported design changes or if those plans could be scaled back.
