Is a Dual Lens Camera Coming to the iPhone Air in Spring 2027?

Apple plans to launch a new iPhone Air in spring 2027, featuring an Ultra Wide lens alongside the existing Wide lens for enhanced value. The model, now in advanced testing, retains the current design but includes this additional lens. Efforts to improve battery life are underway, potentially through efficiency enhancements or a larger battery, though design constraints may limit the latter option. The device will incorporate an A20 chip using Apple’s new 2nm process, promising better efficiency. This update addresses customer feedback, as the current iPhone Air’s single rear lens falls short compared to the dual-camera iPhone 17. The iPhone Air is set to launch with the iPhone 18 lineup, including the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and a foldable variant, slated for a September debut.
