Apple has nudged up monthly and annual AppleCare+ prices for Mac and iPad this week, but AppleCare One remains priced at $19.99/month in the United States, strengthening the appeal of the multi‑device plan.
What AppleCare One covers and how it’s priced
Launched in July 2025, AppleCare One lets you group up to three devices under a single $19.99/month subscription. Additional devices can be added for $5.99 each. The plan covers accidental damage repairs, 24/7 priority technical support, and theft and loss protection for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
A concrete advantage amid AppleCare+ price hikes
The recent AppleCare+ price increases for Mac and iPad make AppleCare One more attractive for multi‑device households. For example, protecting an iPhone 17 Pro, a MacBook Air with an M5 chip, and an iPad mini with an A17 Pro via separate AppleCare+ subscriptions (including theft and loss where applicable) can total up to $26.97/month. At $19.99/month, AppleCare One would save about $6.98/month in that scenario.
Eligibility and limits to know
You can add previously owned devices to an AppleCare One plan provided they’re in good condition and less than four years old. A diagnostic check and/or inspection may be required to verify device condition. AppleCare One is currently only available in the United States.
Bottom line
As individual AppleCare+ prices rise, AppleCare One gains value for users with multiple eligible Apple devices. For households looking to simplify coverage, the centralized plan can be easier to manage and potentially less expensive — subject to eligibility requirements and the plan’s coverage scope.
