Pocket Casts is now available on Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, the platform announced. The app—already offered on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch—brings episodes and the playback position saved on another device to the big screen.
Availability on Apple TV
Starting today, Pocket Casts can be installed on all Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD models. This TV extension complements Pocket Casts’ existing presence on iOS and watchOS, giving users another option to listen to podcasts from the living room.
Pocket Casts and listening continuity
Pocket Casts emphasized cross-device continuity in a blog post: “Your podcasts, your Up Next, your place in every episode, right on the screen in front of you,” highlighting that you can start an episode on your phone and pick it up on the TV “exactly where you left it.” The platform also stresses there’s no need to manually resync content.
This Apple TV release makes it easier to access playlists and the Up Next queue on a larger screen without losing listening progress between devices.
By expanding to Apple TV, Pocket Casts broadens listening options for users who switch between mobile and home while preserving their place in each episode.
