Koehler Paper will present Koehler NexPure® Wrap, a sustainable, lightweight packaging paper for fast-food products, to the public for the first time at the FachPack trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, from September 27 to 29. The new paper is designed for burger and wrap packaging, has a grammage of 29.5 and uses natural raw materials for its barrier function.
Koehler NexPure® Wrap: features and intended uses
Koehler NexPure® Wrap is entirely free from fluorinated chemical coatings while offering the same properties typically sought for fast-food packaging. The product exclusively uses pulp from certified sustainable forestry and controlled sources as its primary fiber. With an excellent grease barrier and an adapted water vapor barrier, Koehler NexPure® Wrap is presented as a strong alternative to solutions that are not fully recyclable and that remain widespread in fast-food system catering.
The paper is primarily intended for packaging burgers, sandwiches and wraps and complements Koehler’s ‘Seal & Wrap’ campaign. Koehler is showcasing the material at FachPack to introduce it to the public and fast-food packaging professionals.
