Apple on Monday seeded the macOS 26.7 Release Candidate, and the update’s code appears to reference more than 10 upcoming Apple products, according to contributor Aaron Perris.
The macOS 26.7 code contains references to AirPods with infrared cameras for Visual Intelligence, the long‑rumored foldable iPhone, an all‑new Apple smart home hub, the first-ever MacBook and iPad mini models with OLED displays, an updated Siri Remote for a next‑generation Apple TV, and additional items reported so far.
What macOS 26.7 reveals
References identified in the release candidate include AirPods equipped with infrared cameras intended for Visual Intelligence. The code also points to a foldable iPhone, an updated Siri Remote for a next-generation Apple TV, and an all-new smart home hub from Apple.
In addition, macOS 26.7 contains references to the first MacBook and the first iPad mini models featuring OLED displays. Those items are among the other product references found in the build.
macOS 26.7 will be one of the final updates to macOS Tahoe, and the release candidate’s added device support aligns with users who do not immediately upgrade to macOS Golden Gate. Apple’s annual iPhone event takes place in September, so at least some of the new products will likely be unveiled next month.
