Samsung appears to be preparing a One UI 9 Watch beta for the Galaxy Watch 7 after a first beta build was spotted on the company’s servers. The build carries version L310XXU2ZZH2, a discovery credited to Tarun Vats, and suggests the vendor will soon begin offering the new Wear OS skin to older Galaxy Watch models.
The company originally unveiled One UI 9 Watch alongside its new flagship smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9, and is expected to roll out beta versions of the software to earlier models so users can try the customization before a wider stable release. Earlier the same day, a beta build of One UI 9 Watch for the Galaxy Watch 8 was also spotted.
One UI 9 Watch features
One UI 9 Watch is based on Wear OS 7 and brings several upgrades compared with One UI 8 Watch on Samsung’s new watches. The update introduces Raise to Talk for Gemini, which lets users activate Google’s AI assistant by raising their wrist. It also adds Vitals, a feature that tracks key health metrics overnight and compares them against a personal baseline, along with a Fitness Index.
