Plenti raises $3M seed round led by Tether

Colombian fintech Plenti raised $3 million in a seed round led by Tether on September 3, 2026. The capital will support Plenti’s operations in Colombia and facilitate expansion into Peru and Bolivia.

The round included participation from Verda Ventures.

Plenti’s product and user base

Founded in 2022, Plenti provides multicurrency accounts for freelancers and remote workers, allowing users to hold funds in USD, EUR and COP. The platform serves more than 150,000 active users and offers access to a range of financial assets — including crypto, U.S. stocks and ETFs, and digital gold — while enabling users to earn yield on balances.
