Apple’s architectural claims—on-device processing for simpler requests and Private Cloud Compute not storing personal data—come from the company and have not been independently verified in this beta. A fully autonomous cross-app chaining demo shown at WWDC, where the assistant mined a Messages thread and drafted an invitation without the user opening apps, has not been confirmed to run identically on consumer devices in the beta. Languages beyond English, availability across the EU and China access remain restricted under Apple’s stated rollout plans.
Bottom line: eligible iPhone users can test four bounded capabilities now—vague personal search, accurate real‑world answers, camera-based recognition and reliable media playback—by following the eligibility and setup steps. Everyone else should wait for the public iOS 27 release expected in September, and any judgement of Siri AI should be based on these reproducible tests rather than a keynote demo that most users cannot reproduce.
