Vangrid, a decentralised physical infrastructure network (DePIN) focused on collecting spatial data, has raised $9 million in a seed funding round. The seed round was structured as a simple agreement for future tokens (SAFT).
A recent report said HashKey, Borderless, Crypto.com Capital, Animoca Brands, Gate Labs and MapleBlock Capital joined the round as “key stakeholders”. The report said the round combined investors providing only capital with strategic partners that also offered infrastructure, technology and exchange relationships.
Vangrid fundraising timeline and announcement
Vangrid began fundraising in August 2025 and closed the round in several stages in January 2026. The company delayed the announcement until the network was in operation.
