What are the details of Samsung’s June 2026 security patch?

Samsung has unveiled the specifics of its June 2026 security patch for Galaxy devices. This latest update accompanies the One UI 9.0 beta, initially rolled out for the Galaxy S26 series in select regions, with other devices expected to receive it soon. The patch addresses 45 security vulnerabilities, comprising 33 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) from Google and 12 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs). Of Google’s fixes, five are deemed Critical, while 28 are considered High severity. Samsung’s Exynos division resolved an issue affecting the DRM HDR driver. Most Samsung-specific vulnerabilities impacted devices operating on Android versions 14 through 16, involving components like Smart Suggestions, Samsung Account, Samsung Cloud, Theme Manager, and various One UI services.
