The Samsung Galaxy A37, the brand’s mid-range smartphone for 2026, made its debut in March and became available in April across major markets. Building on its predecessor, the Galaxy A36, the A37 introduces a refined design, a more advanced processor, and an enhanced primary camera.
Design-wise, the Galaxy A37 maintains Samsung’s signature style with a sleek appearance and a vertically aligned triple-camera configuration at the back. It features the Camera Island design, where the frame slightly extends around the power and volume buttons. Both the front and back are shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus+, offering a premium touch, and the device is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. It comes in four colors: Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White.
The phone boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and HDR playback support, achieving a brightness of up to 1,200 nits in High Brightness Mode and 1,900 nits during HDR content viewing. It also includes stereo loudspeakers.
The Galaxy A37 is equipped with a triple-camera setup at the rear, featuring a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. The front houses a 12MP camera for selfies and video calls. Both the main rear camera and the front camera can shoot 4K videos at 30fps with Super HDR, while the ultrawide camera supports up to 1080p at 60fps.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Exynos 1480 processor, utilizing Samsung Foundry’s 4nm process, with a combination of high-performance Cortex-A78 and power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores, alongside the Xclipse 530 GPU. It offers configurations of 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, paired with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Running on Android 16 with One UI 8.5, the Galaxy A37 is set to receive software updates for up to six years. Pricing in the US starts at $450 for the 128GB model and $540 for the 256GB version. In Europe, the phone is priced from €430 to €520, while in India, it ranges from INR 41,999 to INR 52,999, depending on the configuration.
