What initiatives did Satish Sharma launch at CUK?

In Ganderbal, Minister Satish Sharma visited the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) to inaugurate a Food Processing Laboratory and launch an International Conference on Applied Artificial Intelligence. At the Green Campus, he opened the laboratory at the Design Innovation Centre, where he was briefed on food processing technologies aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture. Sharma emphasized the importance of translating scientific research into practical benefits for farmers and preserving agricultural land. He also encouraged the commercialization of student innovations showcased at the Design Innovation Centre. Later, at the Tulmulla Campus, he inaugurated the AI conference, urging researchers to develop AI solutions for healthcare, agriculture, and governance while integrating traditional knowledge. Sharma also reviewed preparations at the Mata Kheer Bhawani Shrine for the upcoming annual mela and addressed local developmental concerns.
