What’s new for Philips Hue at CES 2026?

At CES 2026, Signify has introduced a new feature for Philips Hue lights called SpatialAware scenes. This innovative feature analyzes the room layout to distribute light more naturally, enhancing immersion and dynamism. By using the Hue Bridge Pro and an iPhone or iPad camera, SpatialAware can tailor lighting scenes to the specific arrangement of lights in a room. Initially, it will be compatible with half of the light scenes in the Scene Gallery, focusing on nature-inspired themes like lake mist and savanna sunset.

In addition to SpatialAware, Signify is enabling migration of multiple Hue bridges to a single Bridge Pro and adding Apple Home support to its Hue Secure camera line. This integration will allow users to stream live video on Apple TV and receive real-time alerts via the Apple Home app.

The Hue AI assistant is also receiving an upgrade, now supporting natural language requests for automations and expanding language options to include Dutch, German, and Spanish. Users can now view and adjust automations within the Rooms and Zones they control, prioritizing frequently used settings.

The SpatialAware feature is set to launch in spring 2026, with Apple Home support arriving in the first quarter of the same year. Meanwhile, multi-bridge migration and AI assistant enhancements are already available.
