Which iPhones Will Lose Compatibility with iOS 27?

Apple is set to unveil iOS 27 at the WWDC 2026 keynote on June 8. The new operating system will be compatible with the iPhone 12 series and newer models, while older devices like the iPhone 11 series and the second-generation iPhone SE will no longer be supported. Despite losing compatibility, these older models will continue to receive security updates for iOS 26 for several years. The iOS 27 update focuses on bug fixes and stability improvements, reminiscent of Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Additionally, it introduces a dedicated Siri app with advanced AI features. The first developer beta will be available immediately after the keynote, with a public beta expected in July and a full release in September.
