Will the Galaxy S25 FE’s chipset choice disappoint fans?

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Fan Edition has been the subject of numerous leaks, and the latest information reveals a potential disappointment for fans regarding its chipset. The device is expected to feature the Exynos 2400e processor, the same one used in the Galaxy S24 FE, which may not meet the expectations of those hoping for the more advanced Exynos 2400. Despite this, other specifications appear promising, with the S25 FE likely to include a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 8GB of RAM, a minimum of 128GB storage, and a 4,900 mAh battery supporting 45W charging. Camera-wise, the phone is anticipated to retain the triple-camera setup from its predecessor, featuring a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with triple optical zoom. Scheduled for release in September, the Galaxy S25 FE might be priced at €679 in Europe, translating to approximately $650 in the US. This positions it against competitors like the Pixel 9a in the affordable flagship category. While Samsung often provides generous discounts on its Galaxy S models, the exact appeal of the S25 FE remains to be seen, as consumers will weigh their options against more powerful alternatives. The newly leaked renders display a design similar to the Galaxy S25 Plus, with a slightly thicker lower bezel on the front. Available in Jet Black, the phone may also come in three additional colors.
