Will the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge be slimmer yet have a bigger battery?

Samsung is preparing to launch its next flagship series, with leaks indicating that the Galaxy S26 Edge may break records for slimness. The current S25 Edge, released in May, is the thinnest Galaxy S phone at just 5.8mm. However, the upcoming S26 Edge could be even slimmer, according to a well-known tipster. Despite its slender design, the S26 Edge is expected to house a larger battery, thanks to advanced silicon-carbon technology. This innovation could address the main criticism of the S25 Edge, which has a smaller 3,900mAh battery compared to the standard S25’s 4,000mAh. The S25 Edge, launched in India at Rs 1,09,999, features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a dual rear camera setup. As the S26 Edge’s release approaches, more details are anticipated, particularly regarding its battery capacity and design improvements.
