GitHub is back online after an hourslong outage. The Microsoft-owned developer platform began experiencing issues around 9:40AM ET, affecting a range of features including pull requests, Webhooks, Actions, Copilot AI, and more.

GitHub said it resolved the issue at around 5PM ET, adding that “a detailed root cause analysis will be shared as soon as it is available.”
