Galaxy S26 FE cameras and AI
Galaxy S26 FE pairs an enhanced triple rear camera system and advanced image processing with new and familiar AI-driven features to improve capture and editing. My FanCam, introduced on recent Galaxy foldables, is now available on the S26 FE and automatically tracks a selected person, keeping them centered and intelligently reframing video as the scene moves. For steadier footage, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock helps capture smoother, more level video during fast-moving activities and travel. The phone supports 3x optical zoom for shooting at a distance and an enhanced 12 MP front camera for wider group selfies. Nightography is highlighted for low-light detail preservation, and Photo Assist enables image refinement via natural-language prompts — for example, turning day into night, adding elements or restoring missing parts — with edits that can be reviewed, revised or undone. Gemini Omni lets users create and edit video clips from photos and videos in the Gallery into share-ready videos.
Context-aware Galaxy AI and One UI 9
Running One UI 9, the Galaxy S26 FE offers context-aware Galaxy AI that adapts to routines and handles tasks on the user’s behalf. Now Brief, first introduced on the Galaxy S25 series, is more personalized with customizable briefing cards such as weather and wellness insights, and users can create their own cards with a simple prompt. Now Nudge has been expanded to select third-party apps and notifications to surface timely suggestions across more of the day. Circle to Search with Google now supports searching for multiple items in an image at once.
Battery, display and daily essentials
The S26 FE includes a 4,900 mAh battery while retaining the slim design of the Galaxy S26 lineup. With a 45 W adapter, users can reach up to 69% charge in around 30 minutes. The device features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with up to a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals suited to streaming, gaming, browsing and creative work.
Setup, updates and care
An improved Smart Switch simplifies setup for users switching from Android or iOS by scanning a QR code to wirelessly transfer data — including passwords and passkeys, call history, accessibility settings and eSIM data — without extra apps. Galaxy S26 FE is promised to receive up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. One UI 9 introduces a Warranty and care settings hub to enroll in and manage Samsung Care+ and other device care support. Smart Switch also offers comprehensive coverage options, and Samsung will include a 6-month free trial of Smart Switch that brings expanded AI capabilities and 5 TB of cloud storage.
Availability and pricing
Galaxy S26 FE is available now in Samsung Experience Stores nationwide and will be sold on Samsung.com by September 11 in three colors: Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. Philippine pricing is set at ₱46,990 for 128GB, ₱53,990 for 256GB and ₱67,990 for 512GB. Introductory discounts available until November 30 are listed as ₱7,000 off for 512GB, ₱5,000 off for 256GB, and ₱4,000 off for 256GB. Buyers can also access up to 15% off for up to 36 months via select bank partners and up to ₱6,000 guaranteed savings with eligible trade-ins.
