Bengaluru-based hospitality-focused AI agent platform Dextr AI has raised $6.7 million in a seed funding round led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Foundation Capital. The company says the fresh capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand its team, and scale deployments across hospitality markets globally; India is also among the markets Dextr AI plans to expand into.

Dextr AI, founded in July 2025 by Sajid Shariff and Scott Arnold, develops specialized AI agents that automate workflows across guest experience, reservations, staff operations, sales, and marketing. The company says its platform is currently deployed across properties in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe, including hotels operating under brands such as Hilton, Wyndham, Best Western and IHG.
According to the company, the platform processes more than one million interactions every month and handles voice-based payments for phone reservations involving tens of millions of dollars in transaction value each month.
Doss Gen 1 and operational impact
Dextr AI says its technology is designed to address hospitality operational challenges such as missed calls, unanswered guest enquiries, unfilled shifts and routine guest requests. The company reports that its reservation centre deployments have delivered ROI ranging from 49x to 67x by using a single voice-based deployment across multiple use cases.
The startup is also launching Doss Gen 1, a command layer that allows hotel employees to manage the company’s AI workforce using natural language through text or voice. The system includes role-based permissions, audit trails and portfolio-wide controls intended for enterprise hospitality operators.
With the latest funding, Dextr AI plans to deepen its technology capabilities and expand its presence across global hospitality markets while building its footprint in India.
