Mave Raises $34M to Deploy AI Agents in Security Operations Centers

Mave has disclosed $34 million in total funding, comprising a $28 million Series A and an earlier $6 million seed round, the company said. Red Dot Capital Partners led the Series A with participation from Lumir Growth Partners; the seed round was led by Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures. Mave said the proceeds will fund AI research, hardening its enterprise product, international expansion and a plan to roughly double headcount from its current 30 employees, with hiring weighted toward go-to-market roles and research.

Founded in 2025, Mave is led by CEO Raziel Oren and CTO Guy Eshel, both alumni of Unit 8200. The two met years earlier when Oren mentored Eshel in the unit. Before founding Mave, Oren ran go-to-market operations at Wing Security; Eshel was the first employee at Alterya and later served as its vice president of R&D before the company was acquired by Chainalysis.

Mave’s AI agents and approach

The product targets a structural problem inside large enterprises: security operations centers run dozens of tools and the evidence needed to understand an attack is scattered across those systems. Traditional security information and event management systems capture only part of the picture; configuration details, identity data, system ownership and live activity often sit elsewhere, forcing analysts to pivot between consoles and manually reconstruct a timeline while an intrusion is ongoing.

Mave connects to the tools an organization already runs instead of requiring that security data be piped into a new store. The platform queries each system through its native interface, reconciles the answers and assembles a single account of an incident. According to the company, it works through every alert within minutes, screens out false positives, surfaces related active campaigns and can execute response actions that a security team has pre-approved, such as isolating a system, disabling a compromised identity or blocking malicious activity.

Rather than relying only on data collected in advance, Mave pulls fresh information as an investigation unfolds. The platform blends purpose-built workflows with fine-tuned small language models for routine steps and larger models for more complex reasoning, and it logs queries, decisions and actions so the investigation can be audited afterward.

“Security teams still investigate threats one tool at a time, manually piecing together evidence before they can reach a verdict. Attackers do not wait. Every pivot adds delay, and every delay creates risk,” Oren said in the funding announcement. He described the platform as giving defenders AI that can keep pace with attackers, show its work and recognize when human judgment is required.

Funding and growth plans

The company named specific uses for the funding—AI research, product hardening and international expansion—and said it will expand headcount from about 30 employees, prioritizing go-to-market and research hires. The Series A lead investor was Red Dot Capital Partners, with Lumir Growth Partners participating; Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures led the seed round.
