Apple is planning a two-day product showcase in Los Angeles on October 27 and October 28 that will invite content creators to see new hardware, including a trio of new Macs and a new iPad mini, according to Mark Gurman.
Gurman says these sessions will be “experiences” for content creators rather than a traditional Apple event with a live-streamed video, similar to an Apple event scheduled in New York on Tuesday, October 13.
Four products are expected to be announced on or around Tuesday, October 27. Apple previously announced it will release a Mac Studio with 512GB of RAM in “late October,” so that model is also expected around the same time. Gurman adds this will likely be Apple’s final major launch in 2026.
Apple event format and near-term launches
In the meantime, Apple is expected to unveil an all-new HomeView smart home hub, a HomePod mini 2, and an updated Apple TV 4K on Tuesday, October 13. The Los Angeles showcases on October 27–28 are described as creator-focused experiences rather than broadcasted product events.
