The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 is set to feature 45W wired fast charging, as revealed by a recent certification in China. This positions the A57 ahead of the base Galaxy S26 model, which is expected to offer only 25W charging. This difference in charging speeds is part of Samsung’s strategy to differentiate its smartphone lines, with the mid-range A series often providing faster charging than the entry-level flagship models. The Galaxy A57, identified by the model number SM-A5760, was listed in China’s 3C certification, confirming its 45W charging capability, similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A56. This strategic choice allows the A57 to appeal to consumers who prioritize quick charging, offering a faster power-up experience than the standard Galaxy S26. While Samsung has not announced the release dates for these models, the Galaxy A57 is expected to launch in the first half of the next year, following the Galaxy S26 series.
