Samsung could bring Exynos back to its Ultra phones after a five-year hiatus, according to information contained in the source.
Exynos background
After the lackluster performance of the Exynos 2200 chip in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung stopped using Exynos processors in its flagship phones. Every Galaxy S Ultra phone released from 2023 to 2026 exclusively featured Snapdragon chips.
If Samsung proceeds, the change would mark a return of Exynos to the Ultra lineup following the five-year absence.
