The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, set to launch in July 2026, is poised to build on the success of its predecessor with notable enhancements. Running on One UI 9 Watch, based on Wear OS 7, this high-end smartwatch promises a refined design and improved features for health and wellness. Maintaining a similar design to the original, it boasts a 1.5-inch circular Super AMOLED display with impressive brightness. The watch features a squircle-shaped Armor Aluminum 2 case with three buttons and a loudspeaker, offering a streamlined 20mm silicone strap in two color options.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, expected to deliver superior performance compared to the previous Exynos chip. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, alongside enhanced connectivity options including dual-band GNSS, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.4. A significant 800mAh battery promises extended usage time.

For health enthusiasts, the smartwatch is equipped with a comprehensive suite of sensors to monitor various health metrics, including blood oxygen levels, body composition, and heart rate. It also introduces advanced features like the Antioxidant Index and Vascular Load. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is anticipated to be unveiled on July 22, 2026, with pre-orders starting the same day and general availability from August 5, 2026.
