Samsung unveiled its first clip-on wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds On, earlier this month, and a global release may be imminent after retailers in Europe began listing the product. Samsung had provided pricing and availability information only for South Korea, where it said sales would start October 27, 2026 for KRW 299,000 (roughly $220). The company has not confirmed an international release date.
Galaxy Buds On specifications and features
The Galaxy Buds On differ from Samsung’s other wireless earbuds by not blocking the ear canal, a design that Samsung says makes them comfortable to wear for extended periods. They are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform chip and offer up to 9.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. Samsung also highlights TwinBoost speakers and Audio Leakage Reduction technology as measures to ensure sound quality.
Retail listings outside South Korea have started to appear, including listings in Switzerland that price the Galaxy Buds On at CHF 179 ($216) and CHF 199 ($241). Beyond the South Korea launch details, Samsung has not provided further international availability information.
