Hang Ten Systems said on September 16, 2026 that it has raised an additional $53 million in seed funding led by Xora, a Temasek-backed fund, bringing total funding in the company to $85 million. Mayfield, which led the company’s first seed round, and Aramco Ventures also participated. Other investors include Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Micron Technology chairman and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, and Jerry Yang, who has joined Hang Ten Systems’s board of directors.
Hang Ten Systems: Funding and investors
The new $53 million tranche follows the company’s launch announcement on June 24, 2026, when Hang Ten raised a first seed round of $32 million led by Mayfield with a strategic investment from Aramco Ventures. At launch the Palo Alto–based company said it was working with customers including Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Fresenius. Vishal Sikka, co-founder and CEO of Hang Ten Systems, previously served as CEO of Infosys and as an Executive Board member at SAP in charge of products and technology. The company lists Navin Budhiraja for engineering and platforms, Sanjay Rajagopalan for design and applied AI, and Tao Liu for applied AI and the forward-deployed engineering organization; all three previously held roles at SAP and Infosys.
Contracts, deployment and use of proceeds
According to the announcement, the two seed rounds closed five weeks apart, and in that time Hang Ten signed several multi-million-dollar contracts across advisory and development engagements with global enterprises. Delivery is underway for several projects and has concluded for a few, with engagements ranging from short advisory assignments to multi-year development programs. The additional capital will fund delivery capacity for engagements now underway, expansion of the company’s engineering and consulting organization, and continued development of its platform, infrastructure, and agentic skills library.
Phil Inagaki, managing partner and chief investment officer at Xora, said: “The bottleneck in enterprise AI is implementation: deploying it securely, economically, and at speed. Hang Ten’s team has built and operated these systems from the inside, and its model is delivering value faster with smaller teams, with early results already holding up in production,” adding that Xora sees the same urgency in Singapore and across the broader region, where enterprises are moving to deploy AI in core operations.
The company is working with Aramco on applications supporting its operations across several functions, the announcement said. Aramco Ventures CEO Mahdi Aladel said teams across Aramco’s business are keen to work with Hang Ten and that projects are already being scoped. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy CEO Vinod Philip said his company began working with Hang Ten two months before the announcement with a short list of outcomes it needed proven: “That level of execution is why we have widened the scope of our work together,” Philip said. Sikka said AI in the enterprise must pair its power with reliability, and that Hang Ten brings the technology to large businesses with systems they can depend on. He described the Xora partnership, backed by Temasek, as opening the door to Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the world.
Hobie platform and delivery model
Hang Ten provides advisory, transformation, and applied-AI services to large enterprises through a native-AI delivery model built on agentic code generation, a reusable skills library, and domain expertise. The company describes its agentic AI platform, Hobie, as five layers: Shoreline, a conversational surface with memory, clarification, and intent routing; Shaper, which builds each agent by reading live systems and then refines it on a closed loop; Lens, a published, versioned semantic model of the business; Reef, which runs queries in place against existing systems with nothing copied or migrated; and Beacon, an audit and governance layer under which every answer traces to the exact data and model version behind it. The company states that Hobie is deterministic by design and built for regulated industries, with fail-closed, role-aware access and controls aligned to HIPAA, SOX, and NIST.
Hang Ten says it delivers through small, senior forward-deployed engineering teams that work alongside customer teams across a program, with outcome-based pricing agreed against a defined outcome before work starts. The company positions its offering as taking customers’ existing, budgeted software development and transformation programs and delivering what it calls 10× value, appearing mainly as speed on some programs and mainly as cost on others. The company says it is growing across delivery, engineering, and research functions.
