iPhone Duo Sold Out for Christmas as Shipping Shifts to Jan. 25

Apple’s iPhone Duo appears unavailable for Christmas delivery after the company’s U.S. online store began taking pre-orders today and now lists an estimated shipping date of January 25 for all configurations.

That estimate means customers ordering through Apple’s U.S. online store are unlikely to receive the phone in time for Christmas.

iPhone Duo launch-day availability and store pickup

Some Apple Stores may have iPhone Duo units available for walk-in customers on launch day, Friday, October 23, but inventory is likely to be very tight. For customers trying to reserve an Apple Store pickup slot, Apple’s online store currently advises to check back on Saturday, October 24.
