Samsung has announced that Samsung Community will be taken offline for approximately 72 hours for a major overhaul, beginning at 2:30 PM IST on Friday, October 30, 2026, and ending at 2:30 PM IST on Monday, November 2.
If you own a Samsung product—particularly a Galaxy smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, or pair of earbuds—you may already be familiar with Samsung Community, the platform where users discuss products, seek help, share tips and connect with other users.
The company says the revamp aims to make the platform more stable, secure and user-friendly. However, several types of content and settings will not be migrated to the new system: draft posts, direct messages, bookmarks and subscription settings will not be transferred. Samsung also warns that some personalized data associated with inactive beginner accounts may be lost. Users are advised to back up any important content before the maintenance begins.
What changes are coming to Samsung Community?
The upgrade will introduce changes to community features and policies. After the overhaul, users will no longer be able to delete posts that have received comments, nor delete comments that have received replies. In addition, only top-level comments—not replies—will be eligible to be marked as accepted solutions.
